This is a special moment that Marie Jo and Didier share every night (except on Tuesday) with their guests around a large table carefully decorated.
Setting, candles, flowers...everything is there to make you spend a pleasant moment.
On your plate you will discover the specialties of our producers : the famous “Boudin gris” from the farm Boutin, the farci au foie gras from the Maison de Charente, goat cheese made by Paul Georgelet, regional products cooked with finesse and originality and sometimes Marie Jo creations : « panna cotta vanille, gelée de caramel au Cognac et coulis de framboises », « confit de Dudule à l’orange et au Cognac », « dos de Cabillaud sauce chorizo et ses mojettes », « cuisse de dinde au caramel de confit de vin charentais »...
Not to mention the wines of the Charente produced by Bonnin you will taste them in white, red or rosé as you wish.
Every Saturday, Marie Jo an Didier offer gourmet dinner…some dishes in addition to the traditional weekly dinner, a Pineau tasting with cheese and a surprise with your coffee or tea !
For breakfast, bread and croissants are home-baked by Didier every morning.
The home-made jams are successful, especially strawberry-apricot-anise, pear-vanilla, raspberry-blackberry, citrus fruit-Pineau…and for some hosts the...butter is an eye-opener : the Cognac butter for example and for those found of salt : chorizo butter to be spread on bread and eaten with cheese !
Fresh seasonal fruits, quartered , stewed, coulis on white cheese are also appreciated unanimously.
